Muskmelon/Cantaloupe/Kharbuja Dessert is a Tasty and Low Calorie dessert. This Muskmelon fruit is available during Summer season and gives cooling effect to body.
Ingredients: Serves 3-4
- 1 Muskmelon/Kirnipazham
- A pinch Cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp Powdered Jaggery
Method:
1) Peel the outer skin of Muskmelon. Scoop out the seeds.
2) Chop the musk melon into small pieces. Add cardamom powder, Jaggery and mix well.
Healthy and Tasty Muskmelon dessert is ready....Serve chilled for this Hot summer.
Tips:
1) Since I have used organic Jaggery which is free from dirt, I added it directly. If you want to remove impurities, dissolve the jaggery in water and strain it. Make a thick syrub of this mixture and cool it down. Finally add this syrup to Muskmelon and mix well. Remaining syrup can be refrigerated.
