Eazy Subzi

This subzi is easy to prepare and is very tasty as well. As it consumes less oil, this subzi is great companion for weight watchers. 


  • 1 Potato (chopped)
  • 2 Onions (chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 capsicum (chopped
  • 1 cup chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • a pinch garam masala
  • salt

1) Heat oil in a kadai (wok) and add turmeric powder, chilli powder, onions, capsicum, tomatoes and saute for 2 mins.

2) Sprinkle some water and close the kadai to cook the veggies.

3) Once the veggies are half boiled, add potato and sprinkle few more water.

4) When all the veggies are cooked add coriander leaves, salt, garam masala and lemon juice.

Tasty Sabzi is ready.


1) You can also precook the potato using pressure cooker, slice it and add to sabzi at final stage.

2) If you want this sabzi to be more spicy, you can add 1 chopped green chilli.

3) Adding green peas with veggies will enhance the taste of subzi.
