Pepper Cumin Powder

 Instant powders always save us when we cook in a hurry. One such powder is this Pepper Cumin Powder and I add this to rasam, koottu and any veggie fry. Also I mix this powder in hot rice with ghee and have it when I have fever or cold.

This powder is made with Zero oil and loads of curry leaves. Also regular intake of pepper and cumin in our diet, increases our digestion power. 

  • 1 cup Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Cumin
  • 1/4 cup Curry leaves

1) Heat a kadai and dry roast black pepper continuously in low flame for 5 mins (nice aroma will arise).

2) Add cumin and curry leaves to kadai and saute again for 10 mins.

3) Curry leaves should not change its green color.

4) Transfer the contents to a bowl and let them cool for a few mins.

5) Grind them to make a fine powder.
