Easy Mango Ginger Pickle/Maa inji urugai (No Oil pickle)

Mango Ginger/Mangai inji/Maa inji is similar to Ginger but has Raw mango taste.

This Maa inji pickle is absolutely oil free and can be prepared easily. Like other pickles you can not store this Maa inji pickle  for months, it can be stored only for 2-3 days (with refrigeration). 

Ingredients:
  • 10 pieces Mango ginger/Maa inji
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • As per taste Salt 

Method:

1) Wash and peel the outer skin of Mango ginger/Maa inji. 

2) Chop the Maa inji into small pieces.

3) Add Lemon juice, Salt to Maa inji and mix well.

Tasty and Easy Maa inji Pickle is ready.



























Tips:

1) With this Raw Mango, raw black  pepper is also added for spiciness. For those who dont prefer Raw pepper or if it is not available you can also add 1 finely chopped green chilli for spiciness.

2) You can also add 1 tbsp of finely chopped corriander leaves for nice flavour.
