Panagam






































Panagam/Panakam is a refreshing drink served chilled during summer. It is very easy as well as tasty and can be made in minutes . It is prepared during Sri rama navami as neivedyam for Lord Rama.


Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 cup powdered jaggery
  • 1/4 tsp dry ginger powder
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • A pinch Cardamom powder
  • A pinch Salt

Method:

1) Mix powdered Jaggery, dry ginger powder, cardamom powder and salt with water.

2) Let it sit for 10-15 mins so that jaggery gets dissolved completely and the flavours of ginger powder and cardamom powder will come out nicely.

3) Wip it with a whisk and add Lemon juice.

4) Filter the panagam.

Delicious refreshing drink is ready.
